This morning I picked up my sealed, preserved wedding dress. It's a little bittersweet to me, not nearly the same experience as picking it up from the shop before the wedding!
I guess they did a good job, however I can't open it of course to see for sure. The cleaner did have me come and inspect the dress before it was packed away for cleaning, and no stains were visible at that time.
Funny, now I feel as if the wedding is definitely over, eventhough we still have to get our albums made. Overall, I can't say I miss the planning, but I did enjoy being a bride.

Yeah! Glad to hear it!
When I was researching dress preservation, I came across a lot of things saying you CAN and should open the box every so often to air it out, etc and the dress won't be harmed. Just wanted to mention that, there is some info on both sides out there!

Really, the air can get to it? Air out the box you mean right? I didn't know that you can do that.

I don't know, I was told not to open the box, but I think I did read that you could someplace else. I'm playing it safe and leaving it closed, at least for the time being.

Yes, I was told to air it out every so often and read an article about it in a bridal mag...different people say different things.
