I have my belly button pierced (i've had it for 11 years now), and I had my tongue pierced!! I let a friend pierce it in the 7-11 parking lot when I was a very STUPID 17!!
I have a few tattoos: * A dragonfly on my neck * A fairy and butterfly on my back * Two black hearts on my left hip * A flower on my toe * An Azalea flower on my inner ankle * a butterfly on my foot
EDIT- explanations of the tats and what they symbolize
The dragonfly- Long story short but I used to be scared sh*tless of them when I was little and my mom always said they were goodluck, so I wouldn't be scared. At a time in my life when I was feeling quite unlucky I decided to get one tatted on me b/c I needed some luck!! Coincidently a few days b4 my appt a dragonfly fllew in my car window (it was parked) and he fried on my dashboard!! I put him in a jar and now he's on my neck!!
Azalea Flower- my sister tat with my sister, it symbolizes the two years we spent living together in NC (we grew so much closer)! The Azalea is Wilmingtons flower (they even have an Azalea festival)
Fairy & black hearts- Only my DH, and sister know the meaning
Butterfly on foot- symbolizes my grandpa

I have my bellybutton pierced....i've ALWAYS wanted my tongue pierced but can't do it 'cause of my career..it would just be too annoying having to take it in and out . I also have a tat on my lower back...it's a really pretty dainty design - in the center is a heart with DH & i's monogram in the middle
i also plan on getting another tat this winter on my right shoulder! CAN'T WAIT!!!

I got a realistic yellow butterfly above the symbols. Yellow butterflies have come to have a really special meaning to me. After my dad passed, they are how I know he comes around and watches over me. So anyways, I love butterflies. Especially, yellow ones!
Butterflies hold a very special place in my heart as well!!

Definately!! I was just talking to DH about me possibly getting a half sleeve on my left arm!! I'm not sure if it's going to border 'trashy' but I love them soooo much!! So far they're all in places that can be hidden so a sleev would be HUGE for me. He's all for it!! He's working on finishing his half sleeve and 3/4 sleeve. I LOVE THEM!!

You think???? I'm seriously contemplating it right now!! MY MOM'S GONNA KILL ME!! I have this vision of the monrach butterfly (the one from my wedding- I have tons of pics of it) flying over gerber daisies, in front of a somehwhat wicked forest, with sick looking butterfly's all around! Everything black and white, except the monarch butterfly and daisies, with hints of color in the other butterflies.

DH has a 1/2 sleeve of a black and white tattoo of a wave that crests over his shoulder and in the middle is a hot pink hibiscus flower with green leaves.. it's gorgeous..
You know which bride has sleeves and is gorgeous to boot? Beavis.. she looked amazing at her wedding with her sleeves..

She was all for the small tattoos, she took me to get my belly button pierced at 15, she's pretty cool, but once I started to get more and more tattoos she started to bug out. When I got the fairy she called me a 'freak' I can only imagine what she'd say if I got a sleeve!!

1. Butterfly on my ankle 2. Two tiny stars on my right foot 3. DH and I got tats on our HM (Bora Bora)... we both got a polynesian style turtle, they are totally different though.
