Pizza

Im bored.

What is your favorite Pizza place and what is your favorite pizza toppings?

we just discovered a new one! Pizza Classica (like 30seconds from us & we just tried it a few weeks ago!) lol...BUT OMG. YUM! all their pizza's are amazing..but i think they're white pizza has to be some of the BEST i've ever had! There's also a place by my brother that makes AMAZING 'alla vodka' pizza...it's thin like a gramma slice but is made with vodka sauce & cheese rather than traditional tomato...OMG AMAZING!

I love chicken pizza, with tomatoes and onions. Not all places have it and not all are good. But theres a few places that make a real good one and I always get that.

Also sometimes dh and i get this small personal brick oven pizza from this one place with vodka sauce, prosciutto and fresh mozzarella. It's so good

i love grimaldi's pizza in garden city for margharita pizza. for a grandma slice my absolute fave is Nino's pizzeria on 3rd Ave in Bay Ridge, but since i'm not there anymore, my fave local grandma slice is from Giaccone's in Mineola. i was very pleasantly surprised to find out how good their pizza is.

ETA: i'm not really a fan of toppings on my pizza, but i'll do chicken, pesto or pepperoni to mix it up sometimes, and i do love vodka pizza.

I have to say Denino's in Staten Island loveeee their sausage pie..
otherwise a plain slice will do..

btw - Colloseo's in Port Jeff has the most AMAZING stuffed slice u will ever eat in ur life.....EVER!!!!!

I love Cinelli's regular pizza (although we always get sliced meatballs on it)

Rosa's pizza in Maspeth is still my all time favorite pizza ever.

my favorite Pizza is from Masas in Huntington/Woodbury- not sure which. its off jericho Turnpike. its coal fired and sooooooooo good and they have fresh mushrooms which is my fave and like ahrdy any places in NY have them!! I also love a place in maine called Ricettas which is similar to bertuccis- which I also like a lot!!
My favorite toppings are pepporoni, mushroom, and onion.
OR
Mushroom, tomato, and spinich (which I find hard to get at a lot of places as well!

Is that in whitestone? we just moved there a few months ago and we still trying to discover our neighborhood and pizza classica sounds so familiar.

Little Vincent's in Huntington - best pizza ever. I love it with mushrooms.

I also love grandma pizza ... and this place Joanne's Gourmet Pizza, also in Huntington, makes amazing whole wheat pizza - it's basically pizza on a pita. MMMM. The less crust, the more I like it.

There's a Little Vincent's in Ronkonkoma too (luckily for DH and me we live practically around the corner from it ) They make the best pizza I've ever had!

I love my FH's too. I'm pretty picky when it comes to my pizza. I like Last Stop Pizza in Astoria. But FH's is still my favorite. He uses whole wheat dough, part skim milk, low fat pizza sauce.. which is oh so yummy and healthier.. BUT when I really want good pizza, he adds on the fried eggplant and wipes out all the healthiness..

I have this addiction to white pizza and/or grandma pizza ... the grandma there is a place right down the block from work that makes the best , with roasted garlic... yumm , called alba's

Rosa's pizza ( i think its on cooper ave ) in queens is the best

Pizzaiola in North Babylon makes THE BEST sicilian pie! My DH and I both like a lightly baked crust and they make it perfect. I also love white pizza. As far as toppings, the only thing would be mushrooms. Oh, I almost forgot, I love grandma sicilian too! We haven't had pizza in awhile...I wouldn't be surprised if he wants that tonight. Now I'm in the mood for it!
