Please Help- BAKING 101

Okay so I want to make cupcakes and I dont really bake anything lol!!

Can I make cupcakes with cake mix like if I buy it from King Kullen?

Also, can I buy buttercream to decorate as icing on cupcakes from king kullen?

Or should I just decorate it with regular frosting? I wanted buttercream bc it tastes so good

Yup! Easy to bake cupcakes from the box! Usually they say 19-22 minutes for 24 cupcakes I believe!

My favorite from the box recipe is for Oreo cookie cupcakes!

Take Vanilla Cupcake mix...make as instructed ont he box. Mash up oreo cookies...I use one whole sleeve usually. Place intot he batter and mix more. Then pour into cupcake tins.

I use vanilla icing and then cut half an oreo to place on top! So yummy!

One suggestion for baking cupcakes... undercook them by just a tiny bit!! they are more moist that way and oh sooo yummy!! I make cupcakes all the time!!!!

Just so you know, buttercream is fairly simple to make...I make mine by creaming two room temp sticks of butter, adding about a tablespoon of vanilla and maybe 2-3 tablespoons of milk and then one box of powdered sugar. It's so easy and delicious!
