Please help me..

Ladies, since you all are pros at wedding planning, please help me with a photo or directions on how I should inform oot guests about hotels being blocked off for them. A newsletter? How did you do it? I was trying to stay away from save the date magnets only b/c I need to provide a lot of info about accomadations.

Please help.

Also, Is this when you inform them that their will be a brunch the morning after the wedding? Or is that saved for a later time?

I sent out a letter on pretty paper saying where we had rooms blocked.
The hotel was responsible for letting people know that we had a brunch the following morning.

I inserted the information in the invitations. Some people asked me beforehand and I just told them verbally.

In regards to breakfast the next day, I put a newsletter type thing in their oot bags. I will try to find the template, but I think I might have deleted it.

I put a hotel card in with our invitations that had the information and hotel phone number on it. We also put a section on our wedding website about it. I

made little brochures and had the hotel give them out when people checked in that had the times and directions to the brunch in the morning, as well as information about things to do in the area. We also told people as we saw them.

I did a postcard for the hotel infor about 5 months before. (not one person booked! waste of money) Just add the info to the invitations, that is when people will look to book a room. As far as the brunch I put the info in the OOT bags.

We sent a letter. It had the date of the wedding and hotel blocks etc. If you want to do the brunch you can always add it in. It was almost like a STD letter-printed off the computer

we sent a 4x6 card, printed them at Costco, with all hotel accomdations, prices, tel. numbers,a nd addresses in the same envelope as our inviations.

I sent the driving directions, and contact info for OOT guests in a matching letterpress card inserted into the invitations envelope

detailed info was on our website
