My DH is applying for a promotion! If he gets it, i will faint!! ![]()
!!!!! That will mean another week paid vacation (so we'll be up to 3) and a 50K raise in pay! OMG, we really really need this!! I swear, I will jump for joy if he gets it! There are 2 others applying as well that have been there longer, but in different departements. DH is the only one in his department applying. If he gets this, all our $$ issues will be over!!!
The only downside is, he'll be on salary so he won't get paid for overtime. Plus, he'll be on call 24/7. But, he does get paid if he works on a day off, so that's good. Really, I shouldn't complain because with an income like that, I wouldn't care (neither does he).
I am really hoping and praying he get's his!! I'll be so happy!! DH and I wanted to have kids right away, but right now we can't for finacial reasons. I mean, his salary now covers everything and we can save but no were near enough to have kids immeditatly.
