It's been a while, but if I remember correctly we have 88 of varying sizes.

what i want to know & should have asked is how many are you contracted for?

Oh sorry! We didn't have a contract. We paid for our album picture by picture.

The way our photographer works is you hire him as your photographer, then you can either put the album together with him, go elsewhere, or do it yourself.

After we got our proofs, we layed out our album, then totaled up the cost of photography plus the album, subtracted our deposits, and paid the balance when the album was ready.

I had 40 and I did not upgrade. I had a lot of wonderful shots, but the reason I felt comfortable with forty is because I made my own 'homemade' album. It started with pictures taken during the preparation for the wedding: bachelorette party, pictures of me after my hair trials, pictures making the favors, etc., the rehearsal dinner.... Then most of my proofs are in it (minus the ones I really didn't care for) combined with pictures taken by friends and family. Then there's a few pictures taken at my mother's house the next day which meant a lot to me because we got to catch up with people we really see. Scattered around the pictures of the actual day are dried flowers from my bouquet.

Only engagement party and shower pics are separate because my godmother gave me a special photo album that I wanted to somehow use on the wedding. Anyway, I filled 2 huge albums for the 'homemade' book and it means more to me than the album from Proline because of the work I put into it.

Just a thought for people who want to be creative and save some money.

Wow, you guys have so many pictures in your albums!! Now I feel as though my album is dinky But I love it anyway.

Oh, don't get me wrong, I love my album, and if I could've afforded it, I would have gotten 100+ pics. Thanks Liz
