Trish I love basketweaves, yours looks yummy!! I think mine looks bad b/c it had the spaces and I was expecting the flowers on all the layers But like Terri said no big deal...except when I look at the peekshures

Octobergirl -- first of all, they used the wrong cake pan. I guess they didn't want the expense of buying teh cake pan you requested.

We started out wanting the second cake I posted. Then our caterer told us they couldnt do that shape, but they could do it as a square. Then the florist took it upon themself to decorate it like that. It ended up that we loved it, but we kept joking about the fact that it looked nothing like our original picture. Go figure!

octgril-I love your cake ...but there are so many pretty ones that everyone posted too!
Mine was boring but here it goes.........I didn't even bother when it came to my cake...it was weird because I had all these pretty cake pictures on file but when I went to my hall to pick my cake...I didn't even bother!

B2B that was me, I got to the hall and I said to hubby pick a cake any cake, its like it was no big deal anymore.
At that point, I didn't care. I just knew that I was not spending any additional money.

Natasha, yes, he showed us the book with the white marks and he said any cake marked with the white is not a part of the 'FREE' cake You know I was like...honey pick a cake quick so we can go, all I cared about was that it tasted great
The cake did was not what I ordered! But at that point nothing matter! I was married! I wasn't going to let anything ruin my day.

gorgeous cakes ! looks like the trend is leaning more towards the stacked look, and gift-box look like i had (no pic scanned to post, sorry!) everyones cakes are GORGEOUS !! too good looking to eat !

Octobergirl- that cake is beautiful. I don't even have a photo of my cake scanned. I will scan one this weekend along with what the cake was supposed to look like so you can all see why I hate it.
