so tommorows my bday! ..and im looking to go to a nice place for dinner... (not a steakhouse) because im not a big meat eater. I like seafood, sushi, pasta. DH wants me to come up with a place i like.. and we live on the island and barely get around to going to the city..please give me some recommendations

i'm a fan of Tonys Di Napoli - there are a few locations in different areas in the city - it's family style Italian dining - but SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOooo good!

OMG Maze in the London Hotel is amazing its owned by Gordon Ramsey and the food,service, and drinks are just out of this world, you need reservations though

Nobu or koi. Sushi Samba is ok too but lacks ambience if u ask me. Actually I have never been to this nobu - just the one in Vegas. Ummm not too much help but what are you looking for - romance, a good scene???

All the Sushi places named are great I have been to two Sushi Samba's (like the one in the Village better)
Atlantic Grill & Blue Water Grill are both nice places
One If by Land
I liked the The Modern a restarant at the MoMA also

Latanzie is such a beautiful, romantic restaurant. Its an old-world Italian restaurant, with such great food. It might not be too late for a reservation.
