please tell me im not the only one

I've been married for almost a year and still haven't changed my last name...I just can't get over the thought and not being schuster anymore....I also dnt want to change my passport bc I have a lot of lovely stamps...

Any brooklyn girls out there that could tell me where to go for ss and dmv to change??

SS 625 Fulton Street
DMV- sadly the one in Coney Island- but if you work in Manhattan there is one in the Daffy's building on 34th street. They open at 8:30 and is rather quick

I waited awhile too and I still have not changed my passport yet...but it is more b/c I am lazy then sentimental.

I hadn't because of trying to get a job with all my teaching and degrees (not to mention parent's connections) in my maiden name. I was going to start now, but I realized that I booked flights in Oct in my maiden name so I can't change it until after Louisville.

i changed my license, my facebook and 3 credit cards...everything else is still owens

Don't feel bad, I just did mine like 2 weeks ago.

And I've only changed DMV and SS, I haven't gotten around to changing any CC's or bank info yet (even though I know I really should.)

so if people only change afew things do u tell them u in process of changing names if you have to show id or something???? could i keep my passport till it expires even with my maiden name and show them my id along with it and tell them i am married???

thanks with the dmv i do work in the city and 34th street is one stop away from my job...when i do it i will prob go there

I was REALLY concerned about my passport stamps...

But, when I changed my name, they sent me my old passport back with hole punches in the passport numbers. It came in the envelope with the marriage certificate!
