Poem or song for parent album
DH and I are hand-making our parents albums and we finally found a cute one at Michael's the other day for my parents.
The pages are 8x8 which is perfect for the 5x7's we'll be putting in and I bought some pretty double-sided cardstock with a subtle pattern to be the background for each photo.
I wanted the first page of the album to be something personalized and found some poems. Many of them I just didn't like for various reasons, some were too sappy, too simple...
I found one that starts with 'When you thought I wasn't looking' and changed all the lines to be specific things I remembered from childhood.
I like it but I was wondering if anyone had any other suggestions. A song or a poem, something you may be using yourself?
