OK I need your help-
You know the large portrait that comes with many of our photo packages- you know the 16 X20's, 20X24's...
What did everyone do with theirs?
If you did purchase one what size and where did you put it?
I automatically thought we would put it in the bedroom(we downsized ours to an 11X14 from a 20X24)
but a friend is putting it in her living room over the entertainment center and it has caused some laughs--
so I said I would come here and see what you all thought
So what did everyone do?

I am not sure what we are going to do with it yet. We choose more of an artsy shot than a portrait so I think it would work in the foyer or living room. It will probably sit around for a while until I get around to having it framed.

We didn't want a large picture so we traded ours for a few extra 8 x 10's and 5 x 7's.

We also got a 11 x 14. With a matting around it, it`s about 16 x 20 anyway. I definitely didn`t want a 16 x 20 matted up to a 20 x 24! LOL -Before the wedding, it sounds so nice but after...well, you`re not a 'bride' forever and it`s just too ostentatious for our taste. (No offensive meant to anyone who does want a larger pic)

We ordered 11x14 and when it comes in and we get it framed, I'm thinking of hanging it in the hallway right outside our bedroom door...it's a hard choice because in all honesty, I don't want to be staring at me in my dress every morning when I wake up in my bedroom!!

I laughed after reading your post. It was so true - We have two 11/14 coming and I don't know what I am going to do with them. We have already received 6 8/10's I don't know who else to give them to - 1 8/10 of us would of been plenty - oh well - I think I am going to put my 11/14 on my dresser and the other on his -

I think ours will go over our bed so we wont see it!!!! well I guess we will when we walk in the room but at least not when we go to sleep and wake up!
My friend has decided to put it over her sofa table-not over the tv-- but I agree the 11X14 with mat and frame is large enough for me!!

What I did...

I framed our 11x14 in an off-white mat, with a gold frame, and hung it in our dining room, over our dining room table. It goes with the brass clock we have on the other wall, and is really nice to look at... just a thought...

Dining room-- I can just hear the comments my husband would make--the funny thing with all of this is I am the really particular person and ever since we bought a house I am finding out that Jeremy is just as 'bad' as I am!!
I cant wait for our prints to come back so we can figure out where to put the big one
