are you asking about going of the pill to TTC?

yes, hubby will be 35 and i am 31 we have lived together for a good 3 yrs and are together for 5 yrs..

hubby claims he wants to try now bc he is not getting any younger he is so cute about it... he even told his mom i will be getting off BC after this month.

so to your question, yes, we are wanting to TTC is there anything i should know

Check out LIF for all your questions. But you should be off the pill ( I think) for a couple months before you officially start to TTC.

Yeah you can ask the girls on the TTC board about anything!
I came off the pill, but for different reasons, so I can't help you there.
I did read an article theh other day though that said you should wait 2-3 months after coming off the pill to try and start TTCing. The reason for this was that until your cycle becomes regular, if you get pregnant, your Dr. will have a hard time determining the date of conception and then figuring out your due date.

I came off the pill right away (after the honeymoon) ,I was on it for about 10 years. I came off in April and got pregnant after 2 periods.

That is what they say but if you do get pregnant right away, they will estimate your due date by an ultrasound. There is no reason you have to wait.

I got pregnant the first month off of the pill and my doctor had no problems figuring out my due date at all.

Also, she said that it is fine to get pg the first month, that once go off of the pill it is out of your system within 24 hours (and I had been on it for 7 years). She also said a lot of people get pg first month off b/c your body is excited to finally be ovulating again.
