if you could control having twins vs having one child at a time, would you do it?

Yes, I want them, and I've always had a very strong feeling that I'm going to have twins at some point.

yes lol...my dad is a twin and I think it would be wonderful to carry on that legacy. Will it be hard, yes, but in the same sense I really think I can handle it. However, i would be happy with just one right now too. Whatever God decides to throw at me.

DH's best friend had twins...a boy and a girl. DH said to me 'that's what I wanted - one and done!'. I don't want twins...I have back problems to begin with and I think carrying just one might be a challenge for me.

I want twins so I can have 2 kids but only have to go through labor/pregnancy once!

DH is a twin (fraternal) and MIL has said things like 'well, two or three at once wouldn't be bad!' ... i know she's teasing but i do not want twins! ...

YES! I would do anything for twins.

They run in my family so I am keeping my fingers crossed that if I do have twins its in round 1 and not round 2!! Three children is not in the plan. (I do NOT want to drive a mini van!)

I'd love having 2 at once! I have a feeling I'll be a miserable pregnant lady...so if I only have to do it once...that would be great!

I like the idea in theory. You are all done in one round! In reality though, I wouldn't want it. Twin pregnancies are much riskier with a higher possibility of complications. I wouldn't want that anxiety.

I was JUST thinking about this on the subway today!

I would LOVE twins! MY DH is a fraternal twin (older one by 2 minutes) and I would love to have 2 children at once. The bond he has with his brother is so unique and I would want our children to be the same...I think 2 is all we want, I am afraid of what my body will look like after different pregnancies LOL

I would really love twins. They do run in my family so i hope i do. They are so cute and it would be great to have 2 at once especially with the 1st pregnancy when you can spend the time with them.

DH wants to wait a few months before trying.

if you trace my family tree I'm next to have twins AND/OR triplets...

if it happens, it happens... i would love twins, but i know they'd be DOUBLE the work!

NO Thank you! I don't know if I can go from none to two. One will be hard enough, 2 at once would be harder! We want 2 but at different times.

I mean in theory, I would *love* twins...but, I think that's just my gut reaction to the novelty of it! Everyone thinks twins are so cute and sweet...and of course, they are! BUT, I'd imagine there are tremendous challenges involved and some tricky dynamics associated with raising twins!
