Poll: how much time does your DH spend on the computer, video games, TV, etc?
Just wondering if everyone is as shocked as I sometimes find myself.

My DH's answer, 'way too F'n much'. We're both tv addicts, but he is also a video game addict. If we're not watching TV, he's usually playing. It gets on my nerves sometimes, but I spend so many hours on here, so what I can say?

not all that much but IMO the more the better...that leave the computer free for me and my LIW time

not that much. he's not that into tv& only goes on the computer to see how the waves are doing. My nephew just lent him his old playstation 2, so he's been playing some surfing game, but it's not that often, only here and there. I'm definitely more the computer and tv junkie!

He spends WAY too much time on the computer. He's either playing games or chatting on his college football/basketball message boards. He also has a T-Mobile Sidekick so when we're out somewhere, he's STILL on a computer!
When he's not on the computer he's watching football or baskteball
He can't even sit and watch a regular tv show with me unless he's got his laptop in front of him

I agree with way to much time. If it's not video games it's a sports game or a rerun on HBO. We now have set times that he can play and watch TV because it got so out of hand. Now things are OK.

I'm the TV junkie, so I can't complain too much.
But I do get annoyed when he comes to bed at 4:00am on a week night because he's been playing computer ALL NIGHT. I'm a very light sleeper so I wake up and have trouble falling back asleep.
And we've 'discussed' how it's OUR computer so I shouldn't have to beg for some time to use it and when I finally get that time, he shouldn't hover nearby waiting for the minute I need to pee so he can jump on for a 'couple minutes'.
We're making slow progress!!

About two hours a night. It doesn't bother me because we have dinner together, chat a bit and he goes on the PC to play later. He is unwinding and enjoying himself so it's fine.

My dh likes video games and plays poker occasionally on the computer. He doesn't spend too much time doing either...
ETA. I didn't see the tv bit....my dh is OBSESSED with tv. If he could stay in all weekend and watch tv, he would!!! I don't know what he would do without one.

poker, sports, fantasy anything - ahhhhh - do I have a DH? I can't wait for football to be over - I think I have a week or two until baseball training

He just goes on the computer for maybe a half hour at the most per day. But sometimes he plays PS2 with his friend after work, and that's like 2 hours, but that's not everyday. He really doesn't watch TV too much. Usually I'm the one watching it.
