Poll: Need opinions on position of a tattoo

Okay ladies -- i'm finally doing my tattoo--but i'm trying to figure the best way to position it. I want it on my right shoulder....but not sure which is the best way it should look. I think a scorpion looking like its crawling UP my shoulder looks cool---DH thinks crawling DOWN my shoulder is better...so I flipped the image around and stuff and can't decide!!

Option #1 -- Crawling Down

Option #2 -- Crawling Up

Option #3 -- Facing left or right

crawling up facing your right shoulder.. the width of the tattoo will go better with the width of the shoulder, kwim?

yup--i know exactly what you mean. didn't even think of that

good thing i'm going nuts doing researching and shiit on this and asking opinions.

right now--i still have to go visit them--but the place i'm pretty sure i'm going to use is Lone Wolf Tattoo in Bellmore---my friends use them all the time--heck my girlfriend's husband got 2 from there in the past 10 days.

2 or 3, i think 3 would work better. It's funny you bring this up because i am just finishing up with working on my tatt (art) before I go and price it out/meet a few artist. Most of my friends, husband, family go to sparrow tattoo (not sure of the town) very good artists there though. Tattoo lou's in babylon use to be good but my neice worked in there and she had since left the business. Anyway Good luck!

initially i pictured it crawling down, but now that i see the photos i really like it crawling up... the sideways one is neat, but i prefer vertical-ish angles on shoulder tats..plus if it's placed right u wouldn't have to worry about ur shirt straps running through it..

ps: any cool meaning to the scorpian?? i love tats - i'm going in a few weeks for miiiiine!!!

#3, but at a slightly more upward angle, maybe 45 degrees.

either 2 or 3. when you do go, and they put the stencil on, if you don't like the first way they first place it, they can change it for you. this way you'll know exactly where and how you want it placed.

i'm a scorpio myself--and i never liked the 'M' symbol for it--the actual scorpion just always seemed more me...just love it!

IMDB has its release date of april 25, 2008--and i've never heard of it until the gossip shows were talking about her scorpion scene--cause she reallly did drop that in her pants for real
