Poll: Re: Vendor TYs

Ok, so our wedding was 10 months ago this week... and I still never sent ANY vendors TYs. I sent all our guests their TY cards within 3 months of the wedding, but then I just... I don't know... stopped.

Just like I never did my review on here (yet?)...

So, now what? Do I bother sending TYs to our vendors? Just pick the major ones like the RH (I honestly want to thank them at Milleridge, still)... or just forget it? I have cards left so that isn't the problem. At this point, I'm just a bit embarrassed.

I did the same exact thing and have been trying to figure out what to do too! So I have no advice really.

I moved from NY to NC and basically just took the master list of my invite addresses and kept them somewhere that when I ordered my TYs I had them around so it was pretty easy to check off and get them done. I tried to do them all as soon as I moved down here after my mom's surgery (kidney transplant) in August and they were all done by the time I went up to NY to visit in October. But I didn't have my box with all my vendors' info unpacked or anything.

Then I just decided to wait until I had my video. I don't know why I did that but it was like I was waiting for everything to be completely done to thank all my vendors. Only I didn't get my video until 2 weeks ago.

Don't yell at me. I already feel bad about this...

Another thing was, I really hated my florist so I never wanted to thank her. And I was weird about sending my photographer the TY card because it uses his pictures but since I ordered it from Kodak.com, he's not credited on the cards and I feel awful about that.

I guess it just all got away from me. Time seems to zip by sometimes...

I would do it!!!

I sent them to the vendors that I liked: Chateau Briand, Thomas Paul, FM, Hair/Makeup,DOC, and invitation lady

I never sent vendor TYs. I just don't feel like doing it. All my vendors rocked, but seriously, I highly doubt they are giving it ONE thought that I didn't send them a TY. They are on to the next brides by now.

But you're still within 6 months so it's still totally reasonable. I'm 10+ months since our wedding! It's a little nuts...

I think I might just send them to the few vendors I still think about in a positive way but wouldn't be too embarrassed about being so late with... like RH, tux place, limos, and of course DOC.

LOL you are too funny!!!

I never sent my vendors thank you's. I totally forgot and then I ended up throwing out the extra thank you cards when i was cleaning! oops! lol!

So if any of my vendors are lurking......THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
