I will send cards to our closest family and friends....no need to send to someone that hardly knows me or won't appreciate it!

Re: Poll: So, who are you sending holiday cards to?

Not everyone we invited to the wedding and not to everyone that came but I'd say mostly everyone. And for the irish ones, since DH is going over there dec 16th I'll pack them in his luggage and he can send them once he arrives so we don't pay overseas mailing charge.

I won't send to my stupid cousin that my dad made me invite and I probably won't send to his friends that came, b/c my dad signs his card from all of us anyway. And a few of DH's work friends...probably not.

Re: Poll: So, who are you sending holiday cards to?

We were just talking about holiday cards yesterday and if we wanted to design ones for this year and incorporate a picture from our wedding. Right now I'm planning on sending cards to immediate friends and family; people invited to the wedding who came and some of the people we invited who couldn't come.

Re: Poll: So, who are you sending holiday cards to?

I think the first Christmas after our wedding we sent them to everyone, along with a change-of-address note (that was almost 3 years ago).

We've cut some of the more distant relatives off the list, sending to those that send back to us or make an effort to stay in touch.

It's still a huge list and now you've reminded me that I need to update it with some new addresses too!

Ditto for us. It gets too expensive otherwise!

Re: Poll: So, who are you sending holiday cards to?

same here on the usual friends and family - but with the exception of a few more family members that sent us gifts for the wedding. At first we wanted to send cards to all our guests, but it's hard to include all 100+ people without having the postage cost be ridiculous! I guess we'll just have to see how many I feel like writing, since I handle the Christmas cards! :)

Re: Poll: So, who are you sending holiday cards to?

After getting married, I sent Christmas cards to my usual close friends and family who of course was invited to the wedding and some other friends which were not invited to the wedding and added DH's close friends and family (many of which I did not send cards to prior to getting married). I send out a lot of Christmas cards.

Also, since getting married a lot of other people send me cards beyond what I said above - like DH's parents friends who I hadn't planned originally on sending cards so that added more to my list.
