I am looking for a fun, somewhat informal, somewhat inexpensive ($15-25 per person) place within 0-8 miles of Garden City/Uniondale to have my rehearsal dinner on Friday, May 2nd. In would be great if they had a private room, otherwise a section of the restaurant together would be fine too.
I would appreciate any and all suggestions.

Filomenas resturant in Franklin Square is great.. private room, UNBELIEVABLE italian food... in that price range.. let me know if you need any more info!

I had my rehearsal dinner at the Lucky Duck in Garden City South ... that was a great time and very reasonably priced!!! Also, try King Umbertos in Franklin Square - my shower was there and the food is incredible!!!

If you are willing to go to Merrick, we had ours at Nick De Angelo. It was fabulous(close to being my favorite part of my wedding weekend!). Great service and fantastic food. The have a private room but you must have 30 people to book it. We didn't make that # and still had a great time. They are on Sunrise Highway just east of the Meadowbrook Pkwy.
Also try Seventh Street Cafe in Garden City on 7th street. They have a private room downstairs. Food is very good there too. But I have no Idea about the $$.
