Since the weather here is so cold and dreary and the sun is not out I wanted a to have a little laughter our side of the board. I have seen threads on other websites of where brides post pix of a funny moment caught on film. Then we all come up with blurbs of what we think was happening at that time.

I was thinking maybe we could do the same here. Please feel free to post 1 or 2 or 3 funny pix and a little blurb below it of what you think you were doing. I will be back with mine!!! If you can't come up with a blurb leave it and we will try to think of one. So ladies let's get the ball rolling.

The caption could read, what is a photo op?? I am really clueless when it comes to the photo business, I just like to hang out at parties, eat free food and get paid to miss the great photos that they say I should be taking, and act like I am a real photographer...I wonder if I should have told the lovely couple By the way, when is dinner being served???

Jp's girl I am sorry that your pictures are not all you wanted them to be, but you have wonderful memory of your day and you are married to a wonderful man. PS how did you hear of this company and who recommended him??

JPSGirl , I am so sorry that you are disappointed with your pics... I hope that you show this shot of the jacka** photographer to the company and ask for some compensation...

Deb, that is totally classic pic as to why you hated that photographer! Did someone take that or was it superimposed, if it wasn't I can see why you did not like him. I am so sorry. You guys look beautiful in the background though!

that pic is NOT superimposed! DH's dad's wife took it. He took that picture too soon, when our lips weren't even touching, and then turned away. she tried to get the real pic but his big head was in the way. That look on his face is what I was looking at all day! I am going to work out my album next week, I have no idea how they are going to compensate me, if at all, since they said he's been fired but that really doesn't help me now!! Glad you liked the pic! BTW, someone at work recommended them - they were affordable, they were the first vendor I picked, I didn't research enough.....etc. live and learn - too bad I don't get to do it over again!!

Wow Deb, you are right, sure they fired him but what does that help you now? You can't get your day back!! And that kiss is the MOST IMPORTANT pic of that day, what a moron. I would definitely say you should fight for extra reprints of pics or enlargements of the ones you like. Afterall, do they want the negative feedback that you will give everyone even if the photog was fired! I wouldn't think they would want that for the company whose rep is on the line! Please keep us updated!

JPSGirl, I'm really sorry you had such a nincompoop for a photographer!! I hope he didn't miss all the great photo ops!!!!

As for my funniest picture -- I wish I had a scanner because it is a CLASSIC!!! My DH got a bit, how shall I say it, TIPSY in the limo from the church to take pictures and what's the result of that, Mother Nature comes calling, in a BIG way! So, the photographer suggested that he go in the bushes and take care of business, but my DH didn't hear the part about going INTO the bushes, he stood NEXT to the bushes and did his thing in the POND!!! YUP!!! I kid you not!! And the photographer's assistant (his son) took it as a great photo op and got him in the corner peeing and me standing on the other side of him facing the camera cracking up with embarrassment!!! Oh and there's a duck in between us!! LOL

I really wish I had a scanner! That proof is sitting on my fridge, by the way!!! He's very proud! Could you die?

The classiest picture taken of me! It was so hot after taking the pictures, before the ceremony, & I wanted to be sure I was not stinkin'!! Notice my dad in his undershirt!!
