I'm sure we all got some clever/cute/silly responses on our RSVP cards -- so lets share our funny ones!

Our RSVP cards said M__________________
_____ will attend
_____ will not attend

We got one -- No return address, no names.... it simply said 'we' on the 'will attend' line.

as in ..... WE will attend.

we laughed and had no idea who 'we' referred to!

we had an RSVP from my aunt......

now thats not there real names lol and i was freaken out because i know i didnt invite a party of 9 lol then there was a little arrow and in side said GOT ya i know you were freaken about a party of 9!

the another said

yeah you know ill be there biiitch lol and it was my bestfriend and there was no address or name

I had a fool from DH's side just write


'Thank you' on the RSVP card and sent it back to us! No name, no number of how many are attending, nothing!

Thankfully, I numbered them all with a UV pen so I knew right away who sent it.

i did that to!! best thing i ever did because i had a few people write how many people and no name!

my sister wrote that she's only coming since our mother was making her

My best friend sent his back w/ a picture of two old men in brown & blue tuxedos....cut out pics of there heads and taped them over theres and wrote 'Jay & I bought these outfits to wear.....'

lol he tortured me throughout my whole wedding planning!!

These are hysterical. I don't recall anyone responding anything weird.
Although we did get one back that said 'Joan Whyles' will be attending, and DH and I had no idea who this Joan was. When time came to make tables we didn't know where to put her. We finally decided to put her with the extras.

One afternoon I was telling my MOH how DH couldn't even get his family straight and how he didn't know who this 'Joan' person was. My MOH tells me that Joan was her Nanny who I invited because she really wanted to see MOH walk down the isle. Nanny has been a part of MOH family since we were 3 and since we have always called her Nanny I had no idea what her real name was. We then quickly changed the table we had her at.
DH gave me a big I told you so!

I got one back that wrote on the name line ' I dont know what this line is for, will attend and no return address. We narrowed it down to a couple of people and then figured out who it was.

my friend's parent knew the drama we were having with our guest list so on the

line they put 47, haha

My Matron of honor wrote 'Do I have a choice?

we sent our invitations out before the postage increase, so on all the RSVP envelopes I put the 2 cent extra stamp on it. Well my 80 year old aunt must have thought I overpaid for the postage so she steamed off the 2 cent stamp on the front of the envelope, then proceeded to tape a BRAND NEW 2 cent stamp to the inside of her RSVP. DH and I never laughed so hard in our lives!!!

My dad's aunt just wrote the word 'one' on the line that you write in your name.

We waited a while to do a process of elimination and when we didn't get hers my mom called her and asked if she sent it in. She said yes so my mom asked if she wrote her name. She said 'No, I just wrote one'
