so did anyone else get the post wedding blues after all was said and done? i was so sad like two days after the wedding that i was over....it was amazing and i wanted to do it all again....the HM distracted me after that and then today (our first day back) i was laying around the house in my pj's watching all the stuff we had on tivo while we were away under the covers ( i just felt like i had a disney hangover and needed the rest) DH was so cute he went out to the gym and came back with half a dozen roses he said he wanted to cheer up his wife b/c she was sad the wedding and HM were over he even bought this little wood sign at the florist they attached to the flowers that says ' a baseball fan lives her with the woman he never struck out with' ( DH played minor league ball for a bit before his injury, and I always felt second to baseball) so this really cheered me up......now i am happy and content to go along as no longer a bride but as a wifey...

that is really sweet, i got the wedding blues, i still sometimes, if something triggers it, i get this wave of emotion and tears in my eyes cause im really sad

I really thought I'd be sad after, but I am SOOOOOOOOOO happy it's over! i had an amazing day but the wedding consumed my life for a year and I'm so happy to be able to just sit on the couch at night with DH and watch TV and not have a list of 3,000 things that still need to be done.

Me too!!!! It is so strange... not to mention i have people all around me planning their wedding right now and i am like, I WANNA DO IT AGAIN!

You and me both! I loved the day but I am happy it's all over. Plus I HATE being the center of attention so the whole day was awkward for me. lol.

I had more of a post honeymoon blues.... I still do!!! I loved my wedding and was sad when it was over, but if I had to choose, I'd do my honeymoon again first!!! Totally cute that he did that for you!!!

i agree! our HM was perfect and i wish i could zap us there right now! I was a little sad that it was over, but not really the planning, just the actual day.
