Post wedding tiara Q

Is anyone or has anyone made jewelry from the crystal beads on your tiara?
Mine costs a lot of money and i don't want to see it in a box somewhere...So i wanted to make my mom a necklace or bracelet but don't know where to go

Suggestions?

Re: Post wedding tiara Q

I put mine in a shadow box with my flowers and put it on our mantle. It looks nice and artistic and only cost me around $25 for the box from Michael's, but I had a small headpiece.

A girlfriend of mine put her's in a shadow box hanging frame with pictures and momentos. That looked really nice too, but she spent lots of time building hers!!

Re: Post wedding tiara Q

I think I am going to put it in my china closet with my unity candle set.

I was going to have my mom's headpiece reworked into something for me in the beginning but it turned into too much of a hassle.

What does your tiara look like?

Re: Post wedding tiara Q

I didn't have a tiara, but had a side comb and a pin type thing in my hair...they are both sitting in my hair clip drawer at home.. . My side comb was approx. $275 and the pin thing was given to my by my hairdresser.. I can actually wear the pin thing again.. The side comb is collecting dust.

Sorry, I really didn't answer your question... I would just try going to a jeweler..maybe they would be able to do it or have a suggested place for you...
