Hi everyone, I am not newlywed (YET) lol but I thought this would be the best place to get an answer. When you signed your marriage license, did you sign it with your new last name if you changed it or your maiden name? TIA!!

Youre maiden name...your not married yet so you can't sign it with your married name. HTH

OMG!!! We had our rehearsal last night and my church has everyone sign everything then and then the officiant signs it the day of the wedding. I asked him which name should I sign it with and he said the new name! I dunno what to do now!

I thought you meant your permit! woops!! Nope youa re fine! dont worry!! The permit is maiden name and marriage cert is married name
