Pregnant.... How much weight did you gain

I am 4 months and 2 weeks pregnant and have gained 12lbs......

I am really nervous that it is too much.....

I am eating healthy....

Walking...

But I am hungry

My family and husband said I look great and that I should not diet.... while pregnant...

I will lose weight after the baby.....

Anyone else pregnant ?

Re: Pregnant.... How much weight did you gain

I gained 20 w/ my first and about 55-60 w/ my last 2.

With my last, the doctor told me a couple of times I was gaining too rapidly in the beginning. I ate when I was hungry (which I guess was often). I tried to keep my snacks healthy but I didn't have as much physical activity as I should have b/c I was always sooo tired!

It did taper off in the middle to end of the pregnancy and I've lost most of the weight. I am probably like 5 lbs. over my pre pregnancy weight.

If your open to breastfeeding, it burns a TON of calories!! I got really thin during but gained some weight back when I stopped.

I am 24 W and I am still down 11 out of the 14 lbs I lost my first trimester from Extreme morning sickness. Every woman and pregnancy is different. Your practitioner will tell you is you are gaining too much or not enough weight!

I'm 23 weeks and I haven't gained anything yet BUT thats only because I lost a lot of weight in my 1st trimester due to severe morning sickness! EVERYONE is different!

A very good friend gained over 80lbs with twins They are now a month old and she lost about 50lbs already!!

Re: Pregnant.... How much weight did you gain

I think I gained about 30 pounds with my daughter. As long as your doctor isn't on you, don't worry about it. If you are hungry, it's because the baby is taking what it needs from you, and leaving YOU hungry...
