I was just about to post the same question. I got two quotes so far, one form a local dry cleanera nd one form a garment care store that was recommended by the place I got my dress. They quoted me $400-450 starting to clean and preserve a gown. Are they serious?
You should try www.wedclean.com alot of girls on hear used them. They are only $100.
I paid $250 to have it clean and preserved and that to me was high.
There is a very good cleaners place in Astoria on Stainway street, called Jimmy's cleaners, 718-932-4747! They quited me $150 and i know they do a great job, i used them once to get a stain out of a white coat that nobody could get rid of, but they did!
