I don't wanna do it yet...i'm still contemplating a day after shoot (especially since im losing weight..i swear i have issues..lmaooooo) But when the time comes...does anyone have a suggestion on where to go?? It def. has to be cleaned..and the bottom got snagged and ripped a little after church..!! I'd love to keep it hanging in my closet so i could .. i dunno.. look at it from time to time ... but i would also like to keep it nice for my children someday (not that they'll wanna wear it..but i know i love that fact that i can go and look at my grandmothers dress ) i missed the boat on preserving my bo-k..thats wilting in the fridge...lol.. so i'd like to keep something in good condition.. TIA

Iam in the same boat. I talked to my photographer about doing the day after shoot. He said it sounds good. I just dont know where to go, I asked him about the weather and he said we could always do it in the spring? IDK if i should wait that long?? I want to perserve my dress. I wonder if there is anywhere I could take some pics inside??

I bought the Preservation box right my bridal store...I don't remember how much it was. You put the dress in this box, tape it up and mail it out. They send it back to me in a box with a window, so I can look at it.
Look up Wedding Grown Preservation Co.
That is who I used.

yea.. i was upset the day of my wedding cause i was in the hospital the wed. before and they pumped me full of fluids caues my BP was very low 74/44 and i was getting AF ... so i was very puffy and felt like all my hard work to get down to my goal didn't matter cause i was sooo puffy from water. I know it sounds silly.. but i wanted a few shots where i am more confident in the way i feel and look... we missed a lot of shots at the wedding too that i wanted.. no shots outside by the waterfall at CB or in the lobby...and a couple of poses i wanted with DH. Not cause of the photographer..they were great. But the only time we could do it was mid reception and we just wanted to enjoy. So i figured a day with less pressure we could get some great shots of us!!! does that sound really ridiculous? lol

Wow, you are only married a week....You are good to start preserving soon before any stains really set in.
