Proactive

Any girls out there with good or bad feelings about Proactive? My skin has been acting up for the past year or so, and i was using the clean and clear system. It worked really well for about a month and a half, and now I m back to breakouts like I have never had before! I am considering Proactive...thoughts? TIA!

I started using Proactiv last summer and WOW! It made such a difference for me! I don't breakout that much but I do tend to get one nasty pimple every so often... now even if I do get one (which is rare) I use the overnight cream and it is either gone or almost gone the next morning! I def recommend it.

Proactive works on me if i use it in moderation...if i use too much my skin becomes so dry and accustomed to the cream/scrub that it causes me to have a breakout...so i use it sparingly like a couple of times a month.

DH used to use it & he liked it. reciently he boght the generic brand from cvs - he said it's a kit that looks just like it but it's cheaper & it works better. But he's a man so i don't know if he's a good source of information

Thanks girls. Maybe I will look into CVS first, but I think I'll at least order the one month trial. Thanks for the warnings!

I used it for a little while and didn't like it. It made my skin so dry & I had red spots everywhere but I have heard so many people have success with it, just wasn't for me.

I tried the one month trial and had a bad reaction to it. I didn't think I had sensitive skin, but it made my skin very rough. My sister uses it all the time and loves it. It all depends on how your skin reacts to it. I returned it with no problems.

I use it. I see a difference, but nothing major. I don' t have bad skin, just a few breakouts.

Try it. They have the one month thing so if you don't like it, return it.

my sister used it and it made her skin horrible! the company said it was bc it was working and she had to keep using it. she used it for another couple of weeks and the breakouts and irritation only continued to get worse! they did refund though.
on the other hand i know many people that swear by it - i guess it depends on how sensitive your skin is

it realllly dried out my skin, horrible.

one of the girls actually recommended tea tree oil, so ive been using that for the last week and already see my skin clearing up
