Proof Albums?

I got my proofs in a box & I would love to get an album for them. Did any of you ladies buy one? If so where did you get them?

My mom got me this which I think I am going to use. It holds I think 400 pictures...

That's so nice Mary. I love that!

One of the departments in my office bought me 2 albums from Macy's that I use for my proofs (hold 300 each - I hid some pictures or duplicates since I had more the 600). The are not suppose to ruin your pictures. (Not sure of the name though

I got 5*7 albums at Marshalls recently - they might still have some. they were a lot less expensive than the official 5*5

Of course now I don't even need them because I hate my pictures. Your pictures only added more to my displeasure.

Helen,
Why do you hate your pictures? The ones I saw were lovely!

I got a regular album and Jen says she hates it b/c I wrote our names in the front I wanted to tell her, then buy me a new one, but I held my tongue *hint hint Jen, get me a new proof book

I got nice leather albums at Target,
very expensive, Classic looking,
have a cople differnt colors and sizes,
Also have section where you can write next to pictures if you like to.

I love them, my proofs came in box too, so went straight out and bought albums, didnt want to leave them in box and rather show them to everybody in albums.

They're boring - he didn't take what we wanted - frankly I hate them - they are not what we discussed he would take and they are don't capture half of what was there
No pictures of flowers, centerpieces, tables, place card table, program basket - all the little things I worked so hard on - nothing but boring portraits

Re: Proof Albums?

So are you trying to say you are not getting me a new book. I only put them in there for my mom to walk around with. You are the only one that noticed it.

Dubliner, I am so sorry to hear, I know those details mean a lot. Did any of your guest take these pix???

Why are these albums so expensive?

Shamma

I don't have any so far - no one has sent us any. But you're right - they are only important to me, so probably no one got any

I am thinking of putting a slip of paper in each TY asking people it they got shots of any of that stuff - what do you think?

Re: Proof Albums?

I think that is an awesome idea, b/c with so many people at the wedding, some body must have caught something. HOw do you think your video person did. Our video captured everything, so all might not be lost.

Re: Proof Albums?

Our video guy did a great job. But its not a picture

Re: Proof Albums?

Dubliner-
If the video was done digitally I believe you can take stills from that. For one, I think that is how Imagine works (Shamma, input?)

I could be talking out my arse but I am 99% sure my cousins video/photog created some great shots... from video.
