what is the average amount of time you had to wait after your wedding to get your proofs?

Our wedding was 8/31, we picked them up the day after we got back from our honeymoon which was 9/11.

our were ready when we came back from our honeymoon - so that was two weeks.

i am hating duval more and more, not that its THAT much longer, but our wedding was 10/12 and he told me MAYBE the first week in november. ugh.

Our wedding was 8/18 and they were ready and waiting when we got back from our honeymoon on 9/1.

I started to hate my photographers after the wedding too ... we had to wait 5 weeks after our day (because apparently since our wedding was June, it was really busy). Then when I did my albums, they took ALL my proofs. I didn't know this and I left there so VERY UPSET. I hadn't finished showing them around nor was I able to scan them in. That's why I haven't posted wedding pictures on the board. To top that off, I won't be getting my albums until 6-8 months later, so that means I don't have my proofs for that long!
Doesn't that just stink? I feel for you jpsgirl!!!

I got my proofs the day I returned from my honeymoon - so 2 weeks.

But most brides I know had to wait closer to a month. And someone I know (who hired a very well known and expensive photographer) has to wait til January for her proofs (from her Oct wedding)! Every studio is different.

My photographer called while we were still on the honeymoon, less than 2 weeks after the wedding. I was suprised!

Our wedding was Aug 3, we went away for 2 weeks, we had our proofs Sept 18th. We will not have our album back until Feb 03. We get to keep our proofs tho' why would they need to keep your proofs to make your album

We were married on 10/12 too and I picked mine up yesterday. I can't see waiting much longer, especially since we have to pick out a picture ASAP for the thank-you notes...
