Proofs

How many were you supposed to get? How many did you actually get? We had said over 1000 and have just about 2000 proofs total including b+w, digital, color, polaroids, fancy lens shots, 40's style slow shutter speed shots and all the other amazing things he did. I am wondering if this is typical? We had him do about 200 posed shots of immediate family down a list and that was an hour - fun, otherwise, all spontanoues. And they were with us from early getting ready thru the end of night. What was others experience? What is typical number of proofs

Wow....I think this is typical!!!

How much pictures are you creating with your album?

We told them we only wanted 36 pics for our album. He only took 250 pictures of us. Not much

Thats ALOT.....BIG TIME!! We had about 900 proofs.

It depends on your photographer. Most true photojouranliststs take a lot of photos. Traditional wedding photographers will take much less than that.

I asked for very few posed shots and got over 1500 proofs. I would imagine if I had a big family and did more posed photos, I would have had closer to 2000.
