Proofs

ok I just picked up my proofs and I am a little disappointed... So what do I do?? get dressed back up in the white dress and retake the pictures..lol

I thought I was going to love them all and I only really like a few.. And we only got about 310 of them to choose from.

I think we all feel that way. I picked mine up last night and they came out nice but I thought they would all be great. He missed some pictures that I would have liked but that is probably my fault. All in all though, there are some great shots and I do have my day captured.

yes that is exactly how I feel... Not that they are bad just that I thought they would be great.. and there are so many with DH eyes shut.. Why Why... they would have been great pictures hadn't he had his eyes shut!

I HAVE TO SAY I'M A LITTLE DISAPPOINTED TOO... NOT AT HOW THE PICS LOOKED BCS HONESTLY THERE ARE FEW I DIDNT LIKE, BUT AT HOW MANY OF THEM ARE CANDID. I KNOW EVERYONE WANTS CANDID AND SO DID I, THAT IS WHY I CHOSE MY PHOTOGRAPHER BUT THEY WERE 95% LIKE THAT AND I LITERALLY DO NOT HAVE A TRADITIONAL WEDDING PIC OF ME AND MY HUSBAND... I DONT EVEN KNOW WHAT I'M GOING TO DO ABOUT THE THANKYOU'S BCS NONE OF THE PICS ARE APPROPRIATE. AND SOME THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN GREAT ARE REALLY FAR AWAY. I MEAN I DONT HAVE A PHOTO OF JUST ME AND HIM FACING THE CAMERA, FULL LENGTH DRESS AND ALL. ACTUALLY I HAVE ONE AND THE PRIEST IS IN IT! I'LL ATTACH IT AND SHOW YOU. I WANTED ONE LIKE THIS OF JSUT ME AND HIM. I WONDER IF THEY COULD AIRBRUSH THE PRIEST OUT...

They can do wonders with proofs and you can get some from video footage. $$ though.

I think we all have something we dont like. I for the most like my proofs, however tey are very traditional with very few photojourn. My firend has alot of photojourn but yet hates her pics..she doesnt have alot of flattering ones with her and DH..all these odd angles and moments that are great for an album but not as a portrait..etc so she of course LOVEs my photos..and I LOVE hers..so its a no win situation lol.
