Proofs

Hi ladies,

This is my first official post on the Newlyweds thread so sorry that it's a complaint, kind of. How long did it take for your proofs to come.

I got married 5/21 and they still aren't ready. I keep calling and I keep getting told that there is a delay at the studio, busy month, be ready in a few days, or early next week, etc. Still nothing and I'm getting upset. Do I have a right to be or is it normal to wait this long?

First of all, welcome and congrats!!

Secondly, its very normal for proofs to take as much as 8 weeks to come back, so I wouldn't worry about it too much.

I got mine last week from Duet......usually it takes 5-6 weeks.....

Thanks ladies. I was getting nervous because a bride using the same photographer who got married 2 days before me, got her photos a few weeks ago. Strange. I'll try to be patient.

It took 4 weeks for me to get my proofs, and I got married in Feb. not a busy time of year

It took me 4.5 weeks to get mine and I got married in February too.....you'll get them asap, I'm sure!

ok, I saw you used Patken, ours came in two weeks, so I would call and ask to speak to your photographer because I've never heard of them taking longer than a month.
