PSA: there's a new Dyson in town....

Who was asking about vacs??? I just saw an ad for the new one, the Dyson Ball??? Instead of fixed wheels it pivots on a ball, it looks awesome, and I'm on the market too. This may be the ONE!!!

I was looking at the one in the store the other day. Looks quite odd but looks like it is a good one. I have my eye on either that one or the Animal one due to pets.

Yeah I know, I'm really picky about my appliances. My men, not so much...


I'm using a cheapie vac right now, and I hate that s*cker. No pun intended.

But I also have the ROOMBA and I love that, but still need a 'real' vacuum, sadly...

See, i understand this logic too. Its a tremendous amount for a chore i hate, BUT so many girls have raved about 'em.
Dom, you're the voice of the minority (typical, right?) why does it s*ck? I thought the inventor guy promised no loss of suction???

Also consumer reports has a GREAT article on vacuums price/quality/etc. They weren't wild about Dyson and other bagless vacs, they say theyu're messy to empty. But I'm thinking about delegating this chore to DH so if it's any problem i'll just say its no good for me and to breathe that in...
