We used Patken photographer and in November, purchased our negatives.
We went to make copies for Christmas and the box was missing all of the pictures we picked for our album. Patken has said they've been looking for them since November. They better find them!!!!!
Anyone else purchase their negatives?
God forbid they can't find them, what would you do?
Hmmm...my photographer told me that they just give us our negatives after they deliver our album and additional photos to us. We don't have to pay extra for them.
I'm sorry to hear that they may have lost some pictures, but I'm not clear on whether they lost negatives or proofs?? If they lost proofs, they should be able to print new ones for you from the negatives.
Either way, the studio should have a policy or recourse for you. Good luck!
I`m also a little confused as to which they have misplaced .. the proofs or the negatives. If it`s the negatives, can you find out from them if they can make new negatives from the proofs/prints you have? I hope they come through for you!
They lost the actual negative. I have the proof and the enlarged picture in the album. I guess I never thought that they could recreate a negative. I'll ask them if they can't find the negative. Thanks!
