Ok so you've been given the opportunity to go back in time to any time period of your choice for one week.

Which time period or decade would you choose?

For me I would choose the late 30's early 40's. I LOVE the fashion, the grand Hollywood era of Joan Crawford, Fred Astaire, Clark Gable, etc... And the music wasn't too bad either.

I'd also like to take a long weekend to the 20's during prohibition so I could drink myself silly out of a teacup in a speakeasy!

I have to say, I would love the idea, of people getting dressed up to go out. Rather than a volour jump suit and some uggs or flip flops.

I think people are very relaxed these days. I love seeing pics from back in the day. I think they are all dressed up, and I would ask my grandparents what the event was, and it was DINNER at a resturant!! Thats it!!

I wouldn't want to go back to any era. I think of what my family went through in the 60s and 70s and 80s. I'd go back to 1986, the year my sister was born, but I'd have to be that age too. I loved that I'd just become a big sister

actually this is going to sound corney but I wish I could go back to when my mom was in college and hang out with her.

she tells me some stories and its funny to think that if we had met back then we probably would have been friends.

I'd go back to the late 40's , early 50's. I know a lot of people will disagree, but I like the idea of a much simpler time. I like the idea of the woman at home and the man working lol

I also like that everyone was able to afford a house and a car, and a decent life style. I love the simplicity of life back then. I would love to go back and live in that time.

I also love the clothing/hairstyles/etc.

I lived thru the 70's 80's & 90's.
Su cked in so much Aqua Net to get my hair oh so big, that's probably why I can't stand hair spray now.

I'd like to go back to the 50's to be a teenager,jsut like on Happy Days.

Totally agree. I love how just going to the movies or dinner at your friends house was cause to dress up in fancy dresses and cute sweaters.

1940's HOLLYWOOD FOR SURE!!!!

They looked all so fab back then. Hair, clothes, jewelery. EVERYTHING.
