Q of the D about Food Part Deux

Are there any foods you have to sacrifice because DH doesnt like it? I loooove Indian and Thai food but DH wont eat it. i also sacrifice making beans at home because they will just go to waste since he doesnt eat those either. I, on the other hand eat everything under the sun so DH doesnt have to sacrifice anything

Fortunately no. DH EATS EVERYTHING! and I mean everything. There are even certain foods that he is allergic to and will STILL eat them lol

If anything he had to sacrafice b/c I'm a lot more selective.

Yes I never make Macoroni and cheese at home cause DH HATES it! He doesnt even like the smell of it! SO When we go to OutBack I usually order the kid mac and cheese!!

Yes I have to give up alot. He was on a strict diet before the wedding and lost 30 lbs. He still watches his eating habits so I cant cook with too much oil, salt, all whole wheat products, brown rice...which is good but sometimes its sooooooooo boring and I want a cheeseburger. Ask me how I gained weight by adjusting to his habits, I have NO clue! lol

anything but chicken
like:
red meat
pork
seafood

ugh i hate it! its not that he doesnt eat it - it is that he is SO picky and I am just learning how to cook different things so whenever I venture out and try something new - he throws his out and i usually end up in tears so i gave up for a while!

you and me both sista!!!! DH hates any kind of ethnic foods - and i am the TOTAL opposite!!! i LOVE chinese, sushi, thai, indian, spanish, french EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!! lol

DH eats nothing, but then again I don't eat meat so I guess I'm a problem eater as well.

See I would understand if he didnt eat meat. I would work around it cause its a personal choice. But he wont even TRYYYYY certain things and thats what pisses me off!

and sauce! they are going to take away my sicilian card. sauce gives him heartburn so i cant make it
i always imagined that i would make it once a week and perfect it but who wants to cook something for hours and then be accused of killing her husband LOL

Mexican. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Mexican food but he will not even consider it. His stomach cannot handle it, he says. Its SO frustrating b/c I LOVE Mexican and Spanish cuisine but he won't budge. I can barley get him to eat nachos

Same here! He eats everything and I am the picky one. If he wants things that I don't eat, he has to cook them himself. Aren't I such a wonderful wife?

Does he not like anything saucy?? Cause my DH is like this too. I cant make things too saucy and I looooove everything drenched in sauce. Ugh what is wrong with these men?

Thankfully no, I'm the picky one lol. Since I do the food shopping I won't buy the stuff because I don't eat it. So he's sacrificing because I don't buy it

Hungarian goulash.
It's my comfort food and DH can't stand it.

I make a big pot and portion it out into tupperware containers and freeze it. This way I can have it whenever I want it, and DH can eat something else.

DH loves Itailian... but not Pasta!! so I rarely make it at home.

Nope thank goodness Although DH doesn't eat tuna salad and I love it...but I make it for myself anyway so no. DH eats every thing
