Have you ever thought about disconnecting? Less or No cell usage,, less / no computer usage (expect where necessary -ex. work)
I saw this on LIF today and have thought about it,, so I wanted to pass it along.

Re: Q of the Day 2-
I've gone weeks without charging my cell phone which is bad because I should have it available for emergencies.

Re: Q of the Day 2-
eh, I don't think so. When we got married, me & DH did cut down on our phone minutes. We used sooooo many each month when we were dating because we were long distance and on the phone for HOURS every day. Now that we're together we don't need as much. And I mostly call my family on the weekends anyway when it's free. So that's something we cut.
Disconnecting from the COMPUTER,however, is sooo not an option. lol. I used to be a big tv person, but now it just kind of bores me. The computer is the only thing that keeps me occupied when life is slow, plus it's my main source of staying in touch with all my friends & family in NY

Re: Q of the Day 2-
I work in a communication center 12hrs a day 3-4 days a week so when I leave my cell is turned off and I rarely get on the computer at home. I alwasy tell people if i'm not at work then you have to call the house phone because I don't leave my cell on unless i'm out running around all day.

I don't think I oculd be totally disconnected. I can say I'm definitely less connected today than I was 5 years ago.
Most of my computer time is at work, and I don't use my cell phone all the time.
I couldn't be totally disconnected though...I like having my cell adn the option of bing reached or reaching someone and I like being able to look up things at my fingertips if I so choose.

Re: Q of the Day 2-
This is why I wouldn't consider disconnecting.
I work on a computer all day at my office, and then at night when I work at home. I have no choice - its the only way I can work. Checking my email, going on FB, coming on here is the only thing that actually keeps me sane while I work. I work about 60-70 hours a week, so I'm online often. But for me, being online is a welcome distraction from work, not a distraction from life.

You reasoning makes a lot of sense.

Re: Q of the Day 2-
I thought about it but I don't think I could do it. Even if I can't call someone or my vm or check my e-mail I'm still thinking about it.
