If you had $1000 to spend 0n yourself (can't be on dh or house), what would you do with it?
I'd get a nice long massage and facial and spend the rest on clothes!

well, angels is pushing it a bit, but mostly they are fine. We had picture day on Friday and they were SO cute! I took a graduate course through SCOPE this weekend, and now I am so tired. But it will be well worth it when I get my 30 credit raise!

Good for you. Cant wait to start taking classes. Now that I have a full teaching position. I was a TA, then the beginning of the year I was offered a 3/5 position. Now I have a full position Now I can start my credits above my Master's. I wasnt able to take those courses as a TA. Good Luck with the class.

Hey, you girls are having a get together right online !! I feel like i wasnt invited, LOL.
With, $1,000 I'd go to a spa (if $1,000 could swing it) and pamper myself for a whole weekend (or however long $1,000 lasts !!)
Since you mentioned school, Jenn - I might be heading for Dowling after all. QC has given me all this run around since July, and here we were now and the deadline is Nov 1st for Spring applications. Too much pettiness with QC, I need courses but they wont tell me what i need, they expect me to figure it out... long story... so hopefully Dowling in the Spring...

Its funny that you asked, I was in PAIN before (sore and cracked, ouch ! ) and I asked DH to give him a bottle of formula. and he was STILL HUNGRY, so he gave him another. I dont wanna confuse him and give him formula once in a while, but i feel like it helps at times like that. Also, is he necessarily STILL HUNGRY when he's 'rooting' alot, ****ing at anything that comes his way and crying?? I feel like we overstuffed him, but he GUZZLED IT DOWN like you wouldnt beleive !! AND he had just nursed like an hour before that ! Im confused !
Hows precious Paul ? Hopefully we'll get the 2 guys together as soon as i'm adjusted and 'myself' again

anna, hmmm...sounds like you have a hungry little man on your hands! i think it's normal with the size John Anthony was at birth. have your been pumping your milk in addition to BFing? i wonder if you are producing enough milk for him. i do not think that it's bad to supplement with formula - he has to eat if he's hungry, and if he's rooting, chances are that he's still hungry. if he's satisfied, he'll probably sleep (at least at this very early stage).
Do not worry about confusing him with the bottle. Are you using a bottle/nipple that was recommended by a lactation consultant? My LC recommends (among some others) the Evenflo Elite bottles/nipples. They are awesome, and really helped Paul develop a wide gape when feeding. He used these bottles until about 3 months old. Check 'em out if you're looking for a good bottle. Of course BRU carries them.
Claud-yep hes always hungry ! OOH those bottles look so cute. I have several Avent bottles, so i dont know if i should buy anymore, but they look so cute !! stylish ! the Avent ones are boring looking!LOL But they are VERY reputable and everyone I know uses them, so I bought them by default. Even tho I loved the colorful and cute ones. Yep I pump every now and then, not too much because I dont want to overproduce and be in pain ! But DH loves giving him the bottle (and it gives me a rest !)

I am all late and what not, but I would pay for my trip to Jamaica that I am taking in Dec. To use right now I would use it for an entire day of pampering indeed and if any change is left, I would buy a pair of boots

$1000 dollars on myself... hmmm....
I might indulge and spend it all on luscious, wonderful knitting yarns - cashmere, wools in wonderful colors, anything that feels soft and looks great.
Or maybe some wonderful French or Italian linens for the bed - could I buy Pratesi sheets with $1000 or would that just get me a few pillowcases?
Could I get myself a big, comfy chair to sit in and read? That's really for me, not for the house.
How about fresh flowers - but it's not enough to get them every week...
Maybe I'd fly to Arizona, to see my nieces - I've yet to meet the youngest, born in April
