I'm seriously thinking of going back for nursing or teaching. I just wish it didn't cost so much.

I am doing it - I am staying home with my son and have been in Nursing school for 2 semesters already.

kelswiss: Nassau CC, Farmingdale & Queensborough CC all have EXCELLENT nursning programs and they are very affordable.

I left my company last year after working for them for 14 years to go for nursing. It was a major life change for me but I couldn't be happier. If I can do it anyone can.

I'm going back to school right now for Org. Psych and Counseling (dual degree route)!

hm...lots of wanna be teachers! I think that is probably a natural ability/desire for all of us!

I have just been feeling since we got married that I spent a lot of time building our company, being a 'businesswoman' (which I never liked), and thinking forward all the time - 'when we get married', 'when we get pregnant'...now that we are there I want to go backwards and do a bunch of learning! It would be GREAT to get my MA and onto my PhD...I know it takes forever...not to mention the $$$.

My MIL's friend is 65 - retired from her job and went to Harvard !!! She is publishing her first book next year!!!
