QOTD - what is the best part about coming home other than DH

Sorry if this has been done before!

For me the best part about coming home other than DH is seeing my little puppy at the top of the stairs wagging his little tail - he is always so happy to see me. Usually DH is standing with him.

So nice to come home to 2 smiling boys

The mere fact that I'm not at work anymore is the best part about coming home!!!

Yup! And it's nice to come home to our home - like curly was referring to.

Best part for me is getting out of my work clothes and putting on comfy PJs!

Coming home and knowing that it is OURS! I love making dinner when I want, getting in our pjs and drinking hot cocoa. I love the freedom of doing whatever we want!

taking off the BRA, putting on PJ's/loungewear and popping on the great TV god!
DH goes to school at night so I have learned to LOVE my alone time when I get home from work! Jeopardy and access Hollywood here I come!

ETA the BEST thing we ever did for our relationship was but a second TV. My fave thing is to watch crappy-ass 'girl' shows (Gilmore Girls, One Tree Hill, any MTV program) and a second TV saved our relationship!

I have to say the dog...it must be what having kids are like...

but he acts like he hasn't seen me in 5 months...he gets all excited like I am the center of his world and he couldn't do anything until I came home...

sweats are a close second

I'd have to say my doggie and knowing that my hubby is coming home soon so we could eat dinner and watch our favorite shows together.

Definately the sweats and sweatshirt.

My computer, my couch and tv, the fact that I can cook and eat whenever I want to...the phone and just knowing I have the freedom I didnt have at work!

Changing into sweats, relaxing in front of the TV, and getting ready to have a nice dinner (usually made by DH) or helping him prepare it

The best part of coming home to the apartment is knowing that it's just the two of us. I love being out on our own since we never did that before we got married. I treasure the evenings when I can do whatever I want.

I can say my dog since DH is not there yet when I get home....although I am one of those people who greets my dog before anyone (including my husband) when I walk in the door. My dog would not have it any other way

Now that we own a new house, I still get happy when I drive up to it. I cannot stop thinking, I actually LIVE here and OWN this house Its the best feeling in the world.

I can't get the remote out of Roger's sticky fingers either but I usually get home, take a shower, pack my gym bag for the next day and get in the bed with my man
