One of the things I like about my new neighborhood is that I have a variety of supermarkets. So far I think Waldbaum's has good produce but I think they are expensive? Not sure about Pathmark or King Kullen?
I was just wondering which supermarket do you like best and why?

I dont know about all of them, but the one by me is open from 6am till midnight.
I dont know if they do this anymore, but the one by me used to, if you spend a certain amount in a certain period of time in November you get a free turkey. I think they stopped doing that because they wound up giving out a lot of turkeys and were probably loosing money.
I loved when they did that though, FI and I ended up with 3 turkey's

Actually most supermarkets do the free turkey (over a certain amount of $$) I saw it a Pathmark and we have a coupon for one from King Kullen.....Thanks for reminding me that we have to pick it up

They do not give a coupon, they tell you, you qualify and you just go back and get the turkey.
Tammy, we do not eat ham either, they should offer us gorceries in the price range of what the turkey cost.

I dont know, shamma you can go to www.waldbaums.com and email them I used to work there a few years ago and it was a free Cook's ham or a turkey. People can use the website to email customer service.
When me and my mom get more than one turkey we donate one- you can do that too if you dont want it

I hate shopping in my neighborhood supermarkets. They are so overpriced it's insane. No amount of coupons or circulars could help either. I think everything in Brooklyn is more expensive. At least in my neighborhood.

Where Ever my Husband stops since he usually does the shopping! But he usually goes to Waldbaums but once in a while a quick stop at King Kullen.

Shamma - this year I didn't get a free turkey, they are giving a 10% off coupon after you spend $300 at this Waldbaums. See if you can get that at your Waldbaums too.
