For those of you who hired Queens Bridal to do your photos, and never got them b/c they went bankrupt: There was just a story on the local news; your photos are at JILLCREST LABS. All the negatives from Queens Bridal were re-directed to Jillcrest. GOOD LUCK!

What really upsets me about this whole story is that the brides and grooms will still have to pay additional money to have things like their album made - even if they had previously paid for it with Queens Bridal!!!!!!
You can pick up your picks for a small fee, but albums and all that are extra. My heart goes out to these couples!

this happened to my friend.....and i feel so bad for everyone who is in this position. she had everything ordered and paid for and was waiting to pick up the albums, now they told her there are charges to pick up everything since they have to handle everything......

I had to pay $120 to pick of my proofs & negatives since they went out of business 5 days after my wedding & my pictures hadn't even been processed yet. Fortunately, I had a balance left that I was supposed to pay when I picked up the proofs, but that balance is certainly not enough to cover what thank yous, albums & enlargements are going to cost us. I'm going to make my own album for now on picaboo, but I have to wait a little while until we can afford to make our traditional album
What that news report didn't mention is just how much trouble QBC is potentially in. I really hope they get what they deserve (even more so now that I've seen my proofs). They've screwed so many people.

I knew I didn't like that place for a reason My husband and I walked out of there, when we were looking for a photographer. It's absolutely HORRIFFIC, that you have to pay a fee to pick up your proofs. Bankruptcy was the best thing they could have done, because if they had to pay restitution for all the money they took from soooo many brides.....They'd be in jail for a very long time. In other words, they took the cowardly way out.

this is what the news didnt say.. why should the brides have to pay double for something you already rightfully paid for. its not right.
