I wish I could help... but I still go to the doctor I saw in Valley Stream.. b/c she is a friend of the family

I would like to find a closer doctor though.

i'm in FH but my drs are in manhattan - do you have a car? there is a first med in Bayside; you can just walk right in without an appt. I tend to go to those places (and DOCS in the city) when I'm really sick.

feel better!

What doctors do u use in manhattan???
My manager at work actually told me about First Med...and there's one right on woodhaven blvd. in glendale which is even closer then bayside. She told me they're a REALLY nice walk in clinic...very clean & the doctors are all great.

anyone else have experience with them??? think i may go in there tomorrow being that i dont have to wait for an appt...i need antibiotics asap!

i always used to go to first med! they are actually much nicer there than the DOCS in the city (same concept - a walk in clinic). I had no idea there was one in glendale - good to know! I went to the bayside one when i lived in bayside and there was one in Mineola, when i lived in LI I went there.

i've gone to first med for strep, weird skin ailments, bronchitis, upper respiratory infections etc. and they give me a prescription for antiobiotics on the spot. I did this because for so long I didn't have a regular dr. now I have one - dr. ganz - on the UES but sometimes it's still a hassle and easier to just go to a walk in!

if you're really sick and you want to go to the doc today, try my doctor in Howard Beach- you don't need appointments, its first come first serve, you just sign in at the desk.

Dr. Hershfeld
Crossbay Blvd & 157th Avenue (across the way from Blockbuster Video, and across the street from Waldbaums)
718-529-4500

I believe he's open til 5 today. feel better!

I don't know of a doctor in the area. My uncle lives there and he usually goes to a doctor in Great Neck-kind of a hike if your feeling sick. Although, let me know if you find one, my sister is moving to F.H. this month!!!

Feel better

Re: Queens ladies....

the one good thing about FH is that there are doctor offices EVERYWHERE. In queens, Fh definitely has more than most areas. I used to go to a gyno in FH but that doesn't help. My general doctor is in astoria, even though i moved i continue to go to him.

here is a list of all doctors in forest hills. Maybe you can look them up and see if you find any info on them...you can also click on their name from that site to get more info about them...make sure to click on the other pages listed alphabetically to see the rest

Aw Taryn, just seeing this. I hope you're feeling better!!!! I was going to ask you if you're coming to the GTG in the city, so I hope you're feeling better!!! My doc is in the city (midtown) so I don't have any rec's for Queens.
