Ques re enlargements

I am trying to figure out if I am nuts here...

I picked up my enlargements at the photographer (several 16x20s) and I noticed they are printed on the flimsiest paper. Now the quality of the picture is great but for those of you that have received enlargements -- how did yours come? Most that I have seen have been printed or mounted on a heavier stock of photo paper. My Mom was almost disgusted by how flimsy (like regular paper) the print was.

Tell me what yours are like so I can figure out if I should talk to my photog -- for almost $400 a print they should be printed on gold....thoughts??

My 16x20 was printed on regular photo paper (a little thicker than normal paper) but I also did not pay $400 for it!

I would definitely talk to your photograpaher.
