Question

The place where I bought my gown (in feb 2000!) owes me money. It`s really a pathetic amount - they charged me tax on a bra. I called the day I got the bill in the mail (it had been charged to my credit card. I was told that I was wrong, that they were suppose to charge tax (wrong!). After they 'checked' into it, they called and told me they would issue a refund. I thought they would refund on the credit card, but that never happened. So I called again and they said they would issue a check becasue the amount had already been charged. Bridal salons must not train their employees to do refunds, since they never do them, right? (OK that's me being a bit bitter.)
Well, it`s a year and 1/2 later and I have yet to receive the check. I`ve called many many times and they always promise to call me back, yet they never do. So I`m planning to post with the BBB. It`s not the $$, it`s like ten bucks, it`s the principle. If I owed them ten bucks, I would never have been given my dress.

So, my question is: has anyone ever filed a compalint with BBB? is it a pain? will it be worth the time?

I HAVE AND I HAD POSTED THROUGH ANOTHER SITE THAT I DON'T REMEMBER. IT'S NOT THE BAD. GO TO THE BRIDAL SHOP AND THREATEN TO GO TO THE BBB. THIS MAY ONLY BOTHER THEM IF THEY REGISTER (IF THAT IS THE CORRECT TERM) WITH THE BBB. HOPE THIS HELPS!
