Ive been off the pill for a month and my period was due today...Hasnt arrived! took a preg test which was neg. hmm...... any thoughts? My doctor mentioned that it could take months after coming off the pill to get your period. Has this happen to anyone?

Were you irregular before you started on the pill? When coming off the pill its totally normal for your period to come late or become irregular.

I was pretty regualar before the pill, but that was 11 years ago..lol!! I quess I will just wait and see... Thanks

It took my sister several months to get her period back after going off the pill. I think it's pretty normal.

Your body is probably adjusting to the lack of hormones you were getting while you were on the pill.. I am sure your body will get over it and you will be back on track soon enough..
