Does anyone do Twitter???

im just starting to get into it, but i have noooooo idea how it works...

i get how to twitter myself, and follow people, fine, but i keep seeing this thing about a twitter session?
how does one take part in a twitter session?

and ok make fun of me but my twitter obssession comes from my Lee Dewyze obsession! lol i just think its soo cool that its actually him putting up the posts and i know in a twitter session he talks to his fans, thought this would be cool for my teenie bopper crush i have and was just curious if someone can enlighten me about all this! lol thanks

I'm on twitter! But I dont really know how to use it much. I'm the nerd that follows all of the celebrities just to see whats up

yes, i'm on twitter for work. i don't really use my personal account, but i handle all the social media for my company. i believe that a twitter session is a conversation of some sort...a coaching session, or a q&a...in the sessions i've been a part of, people post using a hashtag (which is like #coachingsession or whatever...any word beginning with #) and then anyone can ask a question adding that hashtag, and then the moderator will answer the question...or if it's a conversation, you just add the hashtag to whatever you want to say. to search the whole session, you can go to search.twitter.com, and look up the hashtag (put in #coachingsession into the box). sorry if this is really confusing, and even more sorry if this isn't what you were asking about.

so if i were to be in a twitter session with my boy lee...and wanted to ask him a question..

would i reply to his post? and write
#will you marry me??

or do i write the whole thing #coachingsessionwill youmarry me?

ok this is getting confusing. are you talking about an informal twitter session just with a friend? because if so, then you too can just get on to twitter together and just go back and forth using each other's twitter names. so let's say this guy lee's name is @lee, you would type in:

@lee will you marry me?

and then lee would go

@ladyduda of course i will!! but aren't you already married?

etc. and then you can see all of the conversation be either going to search.twitter.com and looking up your twitter name...OR, if you want to be fancier about it, you can get a twitter client like hootsuite, where it gives you a list of everyone who mentions your twitter name.

ok and let's say you're in a formal twitter session (where i assume that normally you wouldn't be asking people to marry you).

then you would say:

@lee will you marry me? #coachingsession

that way, the message can be found as relating to the rest of the coaching session.

I have no idea!

I'm thinking about using it though. Still on the fence.

Lol thanks! yeah that did help a little bit! im still kinda confused but kinda understanding at the same time! lol

oh and im talking about Lee dewyze the winner of american idol so my question will you marry me was total joke! just so nobody thinks im really ready to cheat on my hubby! lol
