Question about anniversary gift?!?!

Question about anniversary gift?!?!

So I took b-pix with Laura Ryan who I still owe a post to about how freaking awesome she is and I received all my pix on CD.

The 'traditional' gift for a 1 year anniversary is PAPER and this is why I did the b-pix...

So our anniversary is on SUNDAY and I have yet to freaking print these pix!!!! It's too late now to send them out so I am going to print them myself.

The thing is, I dont want cheapo paper & I dont want like a high gloss either... I want that textured kind of paper that the pro's use. I have NO IDEA what its called or where I can buy it. It's the kind of paper that they print your TYs and proofs & album pages on.... Does ANYONE know what this kind of paper is called or where I can find something remotely close to it?

The kicker to all this is, most of you know my father just passed & I'm spending every waking moment with my mom. I don't have too much free time, so a trip to B&H in NYC is out of the question.

I know this is so far fetched but I figured that someone here might be able to help me. Thank you so much! And I PROMISE that once everything starts to get a little normal by me I will be back in action over here Miss you all terribly!!!

HOLY CR@P! A NEW SMILEY!!!! HAHAH!! RAD!

there is this

or this

Or you could use regular like a 100# cover stock silk paper but then you have to worry about cutting them to size

I know they're B'pics but you could always walk into kinkos and ask them.

Thanks girls!

I totally thought of bringing it to Kinkos Devon LOL and then quickly nixed that idea

Staples has some nice paper....

Not sure where you are - but maybe Cameta Camera will either have the paper or be able to steer you in the right direction....(i've always found them to be helpful there). It's in Amityville I think!

Ro, I see you nixed the Kinkos idea - guessing you might nix this one too - you can use some of the online photo sites (like Kodak Gallery) but instead of shipping to you, you choose the option to pick up at a store (usually like CVS or Walgreens etc). And it's ready in an hour. Saves you the time to print each, go out and get the right paper, etc.

If that's not an option (would save you loads of time) then you can def get photo paper at Staples or Office Max. Just tell them you need photo paper. Also if you have a Costco membership, I bought a pack of photo paper there - great prices. I bought a pack of 8x10 size paper and a pack of 4x6 size paper at Costco. BJs might have the same thing.

HTH!!!

ETA: PS your Bpics looked amazing!!!!!!!!! Dan's gonna LOVE them!
