i see that many apartments for rent in the paper are listed with a realtor. can i go into a realtor and tell them what im looking for and have them look for me like i would if i were buying a home? if i can do this does anyone suggest anyone in particular?
Yes you can work with realtors for apartments, but just remember that 99.9% of the time there is a fee involved for this service. It usually equals 1 months rent
I always use a realtor, cause the neighborhoods that i wanted to live in didnt list by owner.. you have to go looking with the realtor, but yes you tell her what you want and where you want it and shell take you to see them.. Remember, they take at least 1 months rent as their fee so normally its one months rent, one month security (and if they allow pets they usually ask for another months rent in secruty) and then one months rent to the realtor..
